When the small is the more

When the small is the more

Soul Mission =  Self-Care = Small is the More

I have been stuck for a while now on exploring, reading about and searching for my soul’s true mission.  The reason that I am here- what is it that I need to do while I am here.  2015 is nearly half over- wow!  That is quick, as time tends to be, when it slips by.

At the start of 2015 I exclaimed that this was my year of MORE and set out to do more, be more and create more.  I wanted to learn my souls mission and to live that.  That is still my intent and I hope it is for you to.  When you look back on your life later what will you think?  Will you be happy with the way you spent your time?  Will you regret not taking chances or will you think if only I had done this or that?  I hope not.  The time we are given is more valuable than all the money and jewels in the world.  Time is valuable yet we spend with abandon and not intent.  I am (and will probably always be) still searching out my soul and what I need to do to fulfill it but one thing I do have figured out is that time is the best gift that we are given.

Learning to live with intent is one way of ensuring you are using and spending your time in a way that is meaningful to you and in the end isn’t that all that really matters?  That you are happy with, at peace with and content with the life choices you have made- big or small, isn’t that what is most meaningful?

Living with intent- taking time to set intentions on a regular basis, each morning taking the time to sit with yourself and pray or meditate, take some quiet to set what you want to achieve that day.  It may not be an activity or a work task it may be that you want to tune into your intuition more or you want to touch the life of everyone you come in contact with love and light.  If you choose to do this and then evaluate in the evening how it went- I bet you soul will be happy :).

So halfway through my “year of more” it would be very easy for me to be disappointed and feel like I “failed” because I have not made some of the big changes that create more but I am becoming more aware of something else.  Sometimes small is enough.  Sometimes the little things we do are the “more”.  Swinging with my daughter, visiting family, time meditating, a quiet hour to read,  the ability and freedom to sit on my deck and enjoy a rain storm and the spring time scents.  These are the things in part that are my soul’s desire.  Those are the “more” that I need to keep in mind sometimes.

Time- are you happy with how you spend your?  Do you live with intent?  I challenge you to try it.  You might like it.

Love and light
Jamie
