I practice psychotherapy with adults, individually or with families/partners. The focus of my practice is helping people to recover from anxiety, addictions, trauma, PTSD and co- dependency issues. I work very specifically with those who are emotionally out of control or exhausted due to an addiction issue-either their own or that of a loved one. It has been my experience that addiction and anxiety/depression are more often than not co-occurring and need to be addressed comprehensively. I help people who are trying to define their needs are and learn to live a life authentic to themselves and who they are.
My life's work is to help people who desire a more authentic and improved quality of life. You have what you need within you. You just need to access it. The way I work varies from client to client but I use a great deal of techniques drawn from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) which focuses on learning to become aware of and learn to change your thought processes. I also include techniques from MB-CBT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). I use and strongly support a holistic approach with varying integrative therapies that focus on integrating body, mind and spirit. I often do guided meditations and breathing exercises in sessions and may assign these as work in between sessions to provide a quicker result for you. I am training specifically for yoga to use with mental illness and look forward to developing this. The treatment you receive will be designed to meet your needs. I do not process insurance claims as it takes away valuable client time. I am happy to provide you with a bill that you can turn into your insurance company for reimbursement. Intake or the initial session is $300 for 60-90 minute sessions. Regular 50 minute sessions are $120. Shorter or longer sessions can be arranged.
I provide trainings for other mental health professionals or others in the helping field. This is a passion of mine that stems from my love of speaking and teaching, it also fulfills my mission to spread the integrative therapies that I know work to other mental health professionals so that they can introduce these in their practices.

I offer mindfulness, mediation and yoga classes. We all get stressed and have times where we lose focus on living mindfully and in the here and now. I am convinced from personal and professional experience that these practices work and I love teaching and watching the changes happen in people. NEW in 2015 – I am creating mindfulness – wellness programs to implement into business/corporations and schools. Programs will be created with the organization to fit their needs and can be geared in several different directions depending on the goals of the organization.
I have a certification to provide telephone and online (email and/or chat) therapy services as well. This is great for people who live far away or have trouble with transportation. It is also great to combine with face to face therapy as a check in between sessions for extra support. Ask me more about this if interested in designing a program to meet your individual needs.
